DistributionNOW actively identifies ways to lessen our impact on the environment while maintaining a focus on compliance with applicable environmental regulations. We encourage stewardship through best management practices and follow our Guiding Principles – integrity, safety, teamwork, and excellence – to minimize risks and better our operations' environmental management.

Social Responsibility

Community engagement is important to our organization and employees; we engage and support many organizations and groups in the communities where we operate globally. DistributionNOW's Core Values provide the foundation for our involvement: "We Care", "We do what it takes", and "We are accountable."

A program we are exceptionally proud of – 'Lights' – was created in Canada to give back to the local communities, help those less fortunate, and leverage our organizational influence through volunteer work and fundraisers. Due to our employees' efforts in our 'Lights' program, DistributionNOW was the proud recipient of the 2017 National Philanthropy Day Social Services Award in Edmonton, AB.

Although we support many different organizations and fundraisers through local branch involvement, the following are a few of the most recognizable organizations that we support:

United Way (U.S.) Cancer Council Australia American Cancer Society (U.S.)
Breast Cancer Now (U.K.) Bissell Centre (Canada)

We are committed to and recognize the importance of good corporate governance and high ethical standards. DistributionNOW's Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Standards enhances our relationships with key stakeholders, including our people, customers, suppliers, other business partners, shareholders, and local communities around the world.
